TAB customers in the Northern Territory, Tasmania, South Australia and Queensland would be able to access new products to bet on, including live US sports and exclusive promotions thanks to a new merger announced by the gambling company.
Thanks to a completed merger with UBET, TAB was able to expand its offering with flexi betting, Same Game Multis, special US sports and Watch and Bet function, and some additional tote products, such as Big 6 and Early Quaddie. One of the largest Australian gambling operators further revealed that it has launched a special Venue Mode function for all customers, who prefer to bet online in TAB venues. So-called Venue Mode is one of the latest innovations that the company has implemented and provides customers betting in agencies, club and pub TABs and racecourses with special promotions and offers.
In an official announcement, TAB revealed the new products and enhancements it has made to its assortment of products and services, saying that the UBET deal has helped it transform the betting experience for customers of the brand in the abovementioned jurisdictions. The new additions will be available as of this week on the combined Tabcorp technology platform, which was created as a result of the merger between Tabcorp and Tatts.
Latest Additions to TAB’s Offering Represent Major Milestone for the Company
Now, Australian punters will be able to access the new additions to the gambling firm’s offering through the newest version of the company’s app or by logging in their accounts through its website.
Furthermore, the TAB revealed that new products and improved customer experience, the new changes made by the operator will set the base for future improvements and products that are planned to be launched across the entire customer base of the operator. These changes, however, have to be approved by regulators.
As mentioned above, a new Venue Mode will be active across the entire TAB network with immediate effect, while other applicable new products and features will be released to non-account-based gambling in retail outlets of the brand over time. Apart from that, responsible gambling tools across all jurisdictions where TAB is available have been released. One of these responsible gambling tools is a function called “Take a Break”, which allows customers with the chance to block their account via the TAB app or website quickly and easily.
The gambling operator has been making significant investments in its offering over the past in the Australian states of Victoria and New South Wales (NSW), ahead of the latest integration of the newly-announced innovations.
Adam Rytenskild, the Managing Director of Wagering and Media at Tabcorp, said that the company had managed to successfully complete the planned changes to turn TAB into “a new home ground” for players in Queensland, Tasmania, South Australia and the Northern Territory. As Mr Rytenskild explained, the latest enhancements mark the beginning of what he called “a new era” for TAB, as they were a major milestone for the company’s business.
